About the speakers

 

Graeme Bolin

Executive Director, Industrial & Logistics Services, Advisory & Transaction Services, Singapore

Graeme is currently our Executive Director who provides strategic advice, consultancy and transaction management support at a global level to a variety of clients including: Diageo, A US Tech Giant and BAT. He has also worked across a variety of asset classes in over 40 countries, in the process of building up an extensive network of contacts. Graeme also leads the CBRE FMCG sector vertical initiative.

Graeme has over 11 years of property experience and a background in corporate real estate, agency, development and asset management with strong working knowledge of lease negotiations, disposals, re-structuring and financial modelling. By understanding internal stakeholders objectives and working with local representatives Graeme is able to successfully plan and deliver projects resulting in cost savings for his clients.

Graeme graduated from Macquarie University, Sydney with a Bachelor of Economics and Demography. Initially working in Property Development and Commercial Leasing in Sydney, he relocated to CBRE London in 2005.

Since joining CBRE in London, Graeme has worked on both the investor and occupier sides of the business. Whilst with CBRE, he obtained his Masters in Real Estate from Kingston University and subsequently qualified as a Chartered Surveyor.

Graeme relocated with CBRE to Singapore in 2015 leading transaction management for the Apple account in APAC whilst continuing to work with other clients from EMEA.

 

Tricia Song

Head of Research, Singapore & South East Asia

CBRE

Tricia brings to CBRE a wealth of experience of more than 20 years in both public property equity and private commercial real estate research. In her last role, she led a team of sectoral specialists to publish periodical and thematic research reports covering the Singapore real estate market.

Before joining the commercial real estate industry, Tricia was the lead analyst for the Singapore Real Estate and REITs sector at Equity Research at Barclays Bank PLC and before that at Credit Suisse, HSBC, CIMB-GK, and UOB KayHian.

She was also the lead equity analyst on various Initial Public Offering (IPO) pre-deals research including Ananda Development, iREIT Global, CapitaMalls Asia, and MacarthurCook Industrial REIT (currently AIMS APAC REIT).

Before real estate sell-side, Tricia also has prior experience on the buy-side, specifically in private equity, working on M&A deals in Asia Pacific at Newbridge Capital.

Tricia currently heads Research for Singapore and South East Asia. She is also the media spokesperson for the company and will oversee the research teams across Southeast Asia in producing quality and timely analysis, insights and forecasts that reflect trends and evolutions across the different real estate sectors.

As a thought leader, her experience and knowledge span across residential, office, retail and industrial real estate sectors in Singapore and South East Asia.

 

Gus McConnell

Research Manager

CBRE

Gus is an Associate Director of CBRE’s Asia Pacific Research team, leading the Hotels & Hospitality research for the region, and also specializing in capital markets and equities research.

Since joining the team, Gus has been working closely with the wider business lines in operating both the Global and Asia Pacific platform, including fundamental research and enhancements to research outputs on capital markets sectors. His role includes analyzing regional and global real estate market trends and supporting the business growth of the company and assisting the business through client facing exercises through presentations, seminars, and interviews.

Before joining the Asia Pacific Research team, Gus spent 2 years with the firm as an Analyst in the local research team covering the Australian commercial real estate market across multiple property sectors, including office, retail and industrial.

In his time with the firm, Gus has produced multiple reports on the capital markets and hotels sector in Asia Pacific, including –
